I know, I know. There's no need to throw things!

In order to determine a winner for this contest I used the very scientific method of picking a number from a hat. Only I didn't have a hat so I used a bowl. And the winner is ..... (drum roll please) ..... Someone without a blog!

Anonymous at hotmail, I will be emailing you to get your shipping info. Congrats and I hope the breast pump is helpful to you and your little one!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-43043981430733594282009-05-03T19:14:00.000-07:002009-05-03T19:38:45.483-07:00Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Give-AwayHey everyone! I am giving away a breast pump. It's perfect thing for me to give away what with me loving boobs and babies and nursing and all that fun stuff. Read along to find out how you can win a Evenflo Comfort Select Performance breast pump!

If you are (or ever have been) the mother of an infant you have pumped breast milk. I did it for Elle, I did it for my surrogate child and I will do it for my next surrogate child. Pumping is great, it allows us to give our children the very best even when we're away from them. It isn't always very convenient though. When I pumped for my surrogate child I hated always having to bring my bog, bulky pump with me everywhere. If only I had know about the Evenflo Comfort Select Performance breast pump. It's easy to use, portable, easy to clean and matches almost any outfit. Who wouldn't one of of these babies? I know I would. And I bet you would to.

So how can you get one? Two ways. First, you can head over here and enter to win a breast pump and nursing pads. Or, you can stay right here and enter. That's right, you can win a breast pump right here. Can you even believe it? Yes, I bet you can.

Leave a comment on this post between now and 11:59 PM May 9th and you are entered in a give-away for a Evenflo Breast Pump plus two boxes of nursing pads. That's all you have to do! Feel free to enter even you don't need a pump. It makes a good shower gift too! Leave any kind of comment you like. I'm not picky. For example, discuss if you think it's possible to make butter out of breast milk. Or talk about how anyone who discusses breast milk butter probably has too much time on their hands. Whatever you like, just make sure it has a valid email address attached to it so I can contact you if you are the winner. Come on, what are you waiting for?

I would like to thank the good folks at momcentral.com and Evenflo making this giveaway possible. Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-2816346577074959122009-04-03T14:14:00.000-07:002009-04-03T14:26:34.597-07:00Kellogg's Eggo Bake Shop TwistsWe Go through a lot of Eggos in my house. A lot. Joseph loves Eggo waffles for breakfast and he eats them almost every morning. Recently we have added something new to our breakfast routine around here. We have become big fans of Kellogg's Eggo Bake Shop Twists in both apple and strawberry flavors.

You might not have heard of Bake Shop Twists, they are a new product. They are frozen and you heat them up in your microwave. It only takes 25 seconds and you have a nice hot breakfast snack. They sort of look like cereal bars but they taste better than any cereal bar I've ever had. Joseph likes to eat them in the car on the way to school. That works for me because they're more on-the-go friendly than most other breakfast foods. We will certainly buy these again. They're great for both kids (mine both prefer the strawberry flavor) and adults (I like the apple better).

You can find more information on Eggo Bake shop Twists and other Kellogg's products here.Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-58501909438080321542009-03-23T14:28:00.000-07:002009-04-03T14:43:09.780-07:00Listerine Total Care<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 157px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghphx-nTuogPeGztcFat3USyzLiAr28TrnIZCjCh6EewF5EXDZf-7ZmEKUkmyHMQvwz6wtD1mJUUZC7gnbdOe3s6hdWcmkWdrfP4GVYnbg8b3-BUeJVzFhlR8YDvrlIM1ELmdtAl_izkSC/s320/Listerine.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320583841111942706" />

When I hear the word "Listerine" I think of my grandpa's house where there was always a big bottle of Listerine on the bathroom counter. One time when I was kid I took a tiny little taste just to see what it was like. I spit it out right away! Back in those days Listerine was pretty intense. Let's just say you could feel it working. That one experience with Listerine was enough to keep me away from it for a while.

When I was asked by the good folks at Mom Central to review Listerine Total Care Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash I was a little sceptical. And scared. I haven't forgotten what that sip of Listerine was like when I was a kid. I like to live on the edge though so I said they could send me a bottle.

Imagine my surprise when what showed up to my house was a bottle of pretty purple mouthwash. Clearly this was not my grandpa's Listerine! And it does more than just look nice sitting on your bathroom counter. There are six benefits of Listerine Total Care and they are:
1. Helping to prevent cavities
2. Restoring enamel
3. Strengthening teeth
4. Killing bad breath germs
5. Freshening breath
6. Fighting unsightly plaque above the gum line

All that and it tastes good too! There is no burning sensation, just a pleasant tingling. I plan on buying this product again and not just because I like the color.

You can check Listerine.com for more information about Listerine Total Care and the entire Listerine line of products.Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-74247546485726472002009-03-10T14:55:00.000-07:002009-03-10T15:14:33.349-07:00Johnson's No More Tears 50th Anniversary<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 294px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-_F2Ydnq9iiv_nfTlHDTF_sEAvCiQRtZUb5vllwOml3dVlgmhS_2loK2zJkSRpFjMXmZgq_xEe4-mx3inRPFKjJe12gWMLfbulEmaqp_hvSBPs9BbFBy8Dsni8kozqu8owUfkHgDNbJRh/s400/JJ_NMT_50yr_Logo1%5B1%5D.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5311681814383889394" />
Did you know Johnson's No More Tears has been around for 50 years? I didn't either until I was asked by the good folks at Mom Central to review two Johnson's No More Tears products and to pass the word along about Johnson's 50th anniversary.

The first product I got was Johnson's Baby Bubble Bath & Wash. I have to admit, I like this stuff for Elle because it's nice and gentle on her sensitive skin but I also love it for me. The scent is light and soft whether I use it on Elle or myself we both end up with soft skin. I know it has "baby" in the name but this stuff is nice for anyone. (If you click on the link I posted you can print out a coupon to save a dollar on this product.)

The second product I got was Johnson's Head to Toe Foaming Wash. Elle loved this product. I put a little of the foam in her hands and she loves using it to wash up. This product also has a nice light scent and I have to confess that I've used it myself a time or two. Or ten.

Both of these products work well on Elle who has very dry, sensitive skin. You can click here for more information about these products or about the 50th Anniversary of Johnson's No More Tears.Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-34063864330586385952009-02-01T14:09:00.000-08:002009-02-01T14:21:00.541-08:00Frosted Flakes Plant a SeedI have a confession. I don't understand football. I know that's pretty lame but it gets worse. The only time I watch football is during the Super Bowl. And why do I watch it then? For the exciting game play? The pageantry of the half-time show? They guys in tight pants? No, it's none of those. I watch for the commercials.

One commercial I'll be watching for this year is for the Frosted Flakes Plant a Seed program. The Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Plant a Seed program helps communities maintain their athletic fields so that kids have safe and clean places to play. If you go the website you can preview the commercial (so you can see it without sitting through the pageantry of the half-time show). You can also nominate a athletic field to be a part of the program or help out fields already in the program.

So check it out, it's a great cause!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-59024624364123506792009-01-26T18:58:00.000-08:002009-01-26T19:15:39.037-08:00Park City Mountain ResortI have a confession. Despite the fact that I lived in Colorado for five years and despite the fact that I now live in the great frozen state of Minnesota, I don't do winter sports. I don't ski, I don't skate, I don't even like to go and get my mail if it's too cold outside. So why am I here today telling you about Park City Mountain Resort? I can give you 5 reasons!

1. Park City Mountain has ski lessons for every age group. Everyone age 3.5 and up can get ski lessons there. You can learn in a group (and I'm sure they make everyone stop laughing at you when you fall a dozen times) or have a private lesson (where only one person laughs at you when you fall a dozen times.)

2. They have an Alpine Coaster. According to the website the coaster sends you "down the mountain on nearly 4,000 feet of curves, bends and loops". Awesome.

3. They have tubing. Tubing is one winter sport I can really get into. Especially when they have a lift to take to you the top of the hill. A sport where I can do nothing but sit in a tube and have fun? Yes thank you!

4. The town of Park City is located just 35 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport and has over 100 bars and restaurants.

5. The town (once home of the winter Olympics) has a fantastic bus system to help you get from place to place.

Still not convinced? Seriously? Even after I told you about the tubing? Ok, then check out The Adventure Blog where you can get all kinds of helpful tips and insight from moms who have visited the Park City Resort before. If you go to the blog now you can enter to win a Family Winter Vacation for four (two adults and two kids, 12 and under) to Park City, Utah, including 3-nights lodging, 4-days of lift tickets and ski/snowboard school for the kids. On second thought, maybe don't go the Adventure Blog. I kind of want to win that vacation myself.

What? I like tubing!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-19529610293611476072009-01-21T10:29:00.000-08:002009-01-21T10:46:55.828-08:00Special K crackersI was recently sent two boxes of Special K crackers to taste and give my opinion on. Asking me to give my opinion is like asking me to breath. Thanks for asking and all but chances are I'm already doing it anyway. Not that I'm complaining because I got free crackers. So, on with the show.

First up are Special K Snack Crackers in Italian Tomato and Herb. I really liked these crackers. I thought they were hearty and crunchy tasted like tomato soup. Because I can't leave well enough alone I used them with a cream cheese pesto dip and they were delicious. With only 90 calories per serving these would be a good thing to pack in your husband's lunch instead of his usual bag of Cheetos. Not that my husband eats Cheetos every day. Except for how he does.

Next up are Special K Multi Grain Snack Crackers. These crackers have only 90 calories per serving as well. Unless you eat them with a creamy cheddar dip like I did. Although I guess even the the crackers themselves still have only 90 calories per serving. My whole family liked these, even the picky boy child.

In conclusion, Special K snack crackers are good if someone sends them to you for free. They're also pretty good if you pay for them too as evidenced by the fact that my husband bought a box last night. Could the Cheetos affair be ending?Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-17416934004230966302009-01-19T20:01:00.000-08:002009-01-19T20:23:20.890-08:00Drugs.comThere are a heck of a lot of bottles of medication in my house. Between the four of us we have more than our fair share of prescription and over the counter medications. Every so often a new one gets added to the mix and that's always been a bit of a concern for me. I worry about unsafe drug interactions. Every time Joseph (for example) starts a new medication I have to do a lot of time consuming research which often leads to conflicting information. But all that is ending thanks to Drugs.com.

Drugs.com is the largest and most comprehensive online drug information resource and it's an easy place to keep track of your family's medications in one place. Using their Mednotes program you are able to create a profile for yourself (or for each of your family members) to keep track of all your medication. Mednotes will alert you to any potential unsafe drug interaction. No more research! No more worry!

But that's not all Drugs.come has to offer. Other features include:

Quickly identify pills, tablets and capsules using the Drugs.com Pill Identification Wizard.

Learn about your pet's medication using Drugs.com veterinary edition.

Get accurate, up to date information of prescription medications, over the counter medications and natural remedies.

Get daily medical news and the latest pharma industry news.

Get information on the newest approved (and even unapproved) medications.

Chances are you've got enough on your plate right now. Let Drugs.com take over some of the worry and work of keeping track you and your family's medications.Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-39972882569838335522009-01-16T07:38:00.000-08:002009-01-16T07:53:53.820-08:00Get organized with CoziI know how it is. Right now they're having a big clearance sale with bras that are normally priced as high as $45 marked down to 2 for $20. Now you have to buy two to get the sale price considering that you can get four bras for the price of one that's a pretty good deal. It gets even better though!

If you spend $75 you can enter promo code 050005895 you can get $25 off your order. Now how much you can get for your money depends on what you order but I got six bras and five pairs of panties for about $56. That's too good of a deal to not share!

(The code works on everything else on the site too, not just underwear, not just on clearance stuff.)Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-7739911784591879952008-07-24T14:25:00.000-07:002008-07-24T14:39:21.452-07:00Scrubbing Bubbles Action ScrubbersI hate to clean. I make no secret of that. Since we're in the process of trying to sell our house though, I recently had to suck it up and get this joint in order. The big pre-showing clean up seemed to be as good a time as any to try out the Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber sample that I was recently sent.

I tried the Action Scrubber out and you know what? I was pretty impressed. It lives up to all of it's claims. It's comfortable to hold and use, it works well on soap scum, it doesn't have a harsh smell, it rinses away clean. And you know what else? Now don't tell anyone I said this. It was a little bit fun to use. Seeing it wipe away all the soap scum and gunk on my shower walls was kind of neat. But I'll never admit to enjoying cleaning something because then people might start expecting me to do it more often.

So don't you want to get in on the fun? Of course you do! So click here to get a coupon for $2.75 off a Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber. I already got the coupon because once my sample box is gone I'm going to be buying this product again. Anything that makes cleaning easier, quicker and (gasp) more fun? Come on, admit it. You do too. Where do you find the time though? I don't know about you but for us our summer days are filled with sports, day camps, family get togethers, weddings, barbecues and visits from the air conditioner repair man. I don't know how we would even fit in a week long vacation. And even if we could get away where would we go? Everywhere is just so hot and crowded that it almost takes the fun out of being there.

So how about trying something different? What about taking your summer vacation in the fall? Vacationing in the off season can have a lot of benefits. Smaller crowds, cooler weather and (this is a biggie) lower prices. Consider Beaches Wonderfall Celebration. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPhdLSk1MPGYpbERJHoMPqaOEnAA5vvU6rRnJsLH4TqriU_9qC49nGaqfckzl07aMCAV1fwRbpoeMXLPp5bsRDZ0Yi-SV5f2MzjUxu2-rcb6BieL5c7ta9Yk4PMvbNKVoPU416g5cMcWXl/s400/French_vill_pool-00013.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221797773426130674" />
You could save up to 45% by staying at selected resorts PLUS get one or two free nights (depending on the length of your stay) when you book a stay between September 1st and November 4th. It's a great family vacation at a really reasonable price. And what a wonderful way to make all the best parts of summer (family togetherness, relaxation, fun) last just a little bit longer.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7xg9EqEegAb1MvnlrzEjraY3PFurGCcPTN1_ar5lV6syV2XuKEwb6ymE76Y80WwxCc-IacgSfpQplP_ppVwzJpisNSPjrh5eRwtX01CrsZYIrcmTrZDqNnE80-6-2hlYEx8XGSUIcGPJs/s400/beaches-destination-logo-navy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221797778373867138" />
If you've got kids you might be especially interested in the long list of kids activities that Beaches offers. This includes a full staffed nursery, a kids and teen disco, golf for kids, pools and water slides (including toddler pools) and group activities by age. You might also be interested to note that the resorts offer nanny services so that mom and dad can have a little free time too.

So take a look at the Beaches website. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised by the kind of vacation that Beaches can offer you and your family!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-19950813495971254372008-07-10T07:52:00.000-07:002008-07-10T08:19:14.524-07:00Preserve toothbrush review and contest<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLQNlnF5Gl_eiGJK6-SKOEvCaVmRko7vGMLh0dVNmr9SPdOY_PpXh_mfLqPACSS5ptsPi1IidAVQ1xx-EggXJK__yrRUqGsG9mYvVxOw6B44Bn26MKzBQCoZs1iu8Tl6J-ko6ytVFVmqT2/s400/Preserve+Logo.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221405122513705922" />In out house we try to practice the three R's as much as possible. We reduce, recycle and reuse because we think it's important as I imagine most people do. I sometimes wonder though about all the little things we throw away without even thinking about it. All those little things can add up and have a big impact. The good news is that we can all do little things that can add up to have a positive impact. Enter the Preserve toothbrush!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_e3DV120zG4r39BHJ9cwYpDqAAWkOSr2UArx7tkOAWuNxFiQ92mHXRutJAKvS74TjJDZTb3YikFLkmZCsnsYrdD_YOiMI6ndYPITFt5ZS4PY3O01fpki3ywMwWDDc_oPFMRynB4hCVa5i/s400/adult_toothbrush_pro.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221401478904773554" />The thinking behind the new Preserve toothbrush is pretty clever. How it works is this:
1. You buy the toothbrush (It's available at Target for only $2.04 PLUS the Recycline website has money saving coupons you can print off)
2. You use the toothbrush until it's time to replace it. (Dentists recommend switching it every three months!)
3. You send your used toothbrush back to Recycline via the prepaid envelope that is provided to you. (Yes, it's free for you to send it back to them!)
4. Your old toothbrush is then re-processed into plastic lumber for picnic tables, boardwalks and decks.

Now that's just neat. Also neat is the fact that Recycline has a whole line of products including plates and tableware and I feel much better about Recycline goods than I do about other paper plates that I won't mention. (Except that I will.)

If you would like to try out the Preserve toothbrush for FREE just leave a comment on this post. On July 16th I will pick a commenter at random to receive TWO Preserve toothbrushes. You can feel good about keeping your teeth clean and helping to keep the planet clean. But then I figured no one would really think I had cheated just so that a family member could get some free popcorn. Right? RIGHT!?!? Anyway. Don't be sad if you didn't win this time around. The kids love to eat it during family movie night and both of them can pack it away like you wouldn't believe. I've got one kid that's pickier than all get out with food and one with a major sweet tooth but popcorn is one snack that we can all agree on. Of course the kind of popcorn I really like comes from a movie theater and is swimming in "butter" but microwaved popcorn is a pretty good substitute.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUG7Zk-HMqK5d1J9J9BhAdn-vk-3CaRmvhObnKVvNydvvFqNFkQPKSXknU2ej0xDG0HVY7TrVi_E5MrTvo97EsAj849TpITRBJlEAANuk-W4RCWBmBPleWtfpyLYm7OgmVkbBVX2J7iQwQ/s320/mw_naturals_ss.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5214893937277426082" />Thanks to the good folks at Orville Redenbacher you can now enter my contest right here to win a popcorn sample pack. I'll admit that I was pretty cynical as I set out to review this site as I HATE the Rice Krispies commercial. True, I hate about 99% of the commercials on TV but there's something about the woman Ohhhhhhh ohhhhhing in the background as they try to promote eating Rice Kripsies as a family bonding activity that really grates on my nerves.

But, being the fair person that I am I decided to put aside my dislike for the commercial and give the website an unbiased review. Joseph helped me out and gave me his opinions.

It's actually a pretty cute site. It has games for kids, recipes, nutritional information, music and more. Joseph tried out several of the games and liked most of them. His favorite was the one where you could decorate your own virtual rice krispie treat, as strange as that sounds. One feature that he really like about the games was that a lot of them could be played with two people. Joseph is still small enough to sit on my lap so we sat together and played some of the turn based games several times.

In addition to the recipes from the good folks at Kellogg's, you can find recipes submitted by "people like you". I guess people like you like a lot of dessert because that's what all the recipes are. I'm seriously considering trying to come up with a dinner recipe using Rice Krispies and seeing if they'll put it on the site. (Baked chicken with a rice Krispie coating perhaps?)

Like all websites that are designed to promote a specific product, the marketing is pretty heavy handed. I mean, a game where you decorate a Rice Krispie treat? Not exactly subtle. Still, Joseph enjoyed the games (in fact, he asked me to mark the site as one of his favorites) and it's totally child-safe so I would feel ok with him visiting it without me hovering over his shoulder. If nothing else it's a good way to kill 15 minutes or so. And if there's one thing that kids need, it's a way to spend more time on the Internet (says the lady who just let her kids spend time on the site so that he could help her with a review.)

A final note, right now on the site you can get a coupon for $1 off Rice Krispies with Strawberries. Not a bad deal.

This compensated (yet entirely honest) review has been cross posted at Problem Girl. From here on posts of this nature will only be posted here. Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-39959032620285421182008-05-18T10:56:00.000-07:002008-05-18T10:57:06.902-07:00Kellog's Frosted Flakes GoldI am a cold cereal junkie. Before I started eating oatmeal every single fricken day for breakfast I would have cold cereal most mornings. Nowadays it's not unusual for me to have a bowl of cereal for lunch or for a night time snack.

When I was in the hospital for a week with a collapsed lung (I am the only person in history of the world to get a collapsed lung while sitting on couch and watching TV) I would get a menu every day so that I could pick what I wanted for each meal. Every single morning I picked Frosted Flakes for breakfast. I don't know why exactly but I just loved opening that little box of cereal every morning. I think it might have been because as a kid we were never allowed to get the variety packs of cereal at the grocery store because they're such a big waste of money. Now, for me, little boxes of cereal = extreme luxury.

If you're a Frosted Flakes fan like I am then you might want to consider trying Frosted Flakes Gold. I think Frosted Flakes Gold are a little bit sweeter than regular Frosted Flakes. It's a honey sweetness though so it's not sickeningly sweet like so many other sugary cold cereals are. Frosted Flakes Gold score pretty well nutritionally too. A serving has only 1/2 gram of fat and 110 calories. It's also got a quarter of your daily recommended amount of several vitamins including iron and folic acid. Each serving has 3 grams of fiber. That's not terrible but it's not great either. Eating oatmeal with flax seed added to it has made me biased about fiber content. I'm a fiber snob.

One final note, I would probably not give this cereal to my kids. I don't let them eat any cereal that has sugar in the first three ingredients. Hey, they're my kids and I an impose arbitrary rules on them it I want to. Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Gold lists sugar as the second ingredient. Eek. To be fair though this is the case with most cereals. It's hard to find many that don't have a high sugar content. That's why my kids have toast most mornings. Well, that and I'm lazy.

This compensated (but entirely honest) review has been cross posted at Problem Girl. However, this is where most product reviews will be posted from here on out.Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284075954198535313.post-78951972013645085502008-05-14T20:38:00.000-07:002008-06-23T15:57:39.477-07:00Kitchen organization suggestionI have a huge problem with storage in my kitchen. I buy a lot of stuff in bulk from the natural food co-op so I've always got a lot of stuff just sitting around in plastic bags in my cupboards. Want a peek? Are you sure? It's not pretty.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrARDqgsrYUFz7aUq081tXYVygIjI5KciLYsi4zB4blAh0cx6gviQMkyWh97xrxMMo5khoHVsWeQauzofhxjAN9GLyYSDGaLMZpSo8tOh_ptqfdjEHnctVJRR_UavX1ZadLLO63Yggmzs4/s400/Picture+278.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200445012715339330" />
What is that there on the bottom left, a birthday candle? Cripes. I need to clean out my cupboards.

The point is that the situation is bad. I've been looking for a while for something to help me get my cupboards in order but I've never been able to find something that meets all my requirements. I want something that seals tight, looks nice, is easy to open and close and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I've really looked everywhere and just last week I finally found what I was looking for.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrQVTqlZI9zMvFxBkwmmdkmoIh9e_vhHKe-lTiexz3TIjIKQNDPwioyPqfYokU1cM-fhCJAgQpu2hbjGVo7-QpVcRRIvAKX4MJlxu3N_qPOhEcYl9s4XoNxumeuJa9XH_6slWJf0HUG86D/s400/Picture+283.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200445017010306642" />
These kitchen storage jars are from Shop-ko. The largest one cost about $13 and the smallest was $8. (There is one in the set that I don't have, the store was out of it.) They seal tight and they're fairly sturdy. I think they look like glass but they're actually acrylic. Now if I had only bought 14 more I would be able to get my cupboards clean for real.Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13170131429639166827noreply@blogger.com0
